Happy One Year

So I have tried on a number of occasions to put new photos on my blog. For some reason it does not usually work. Since Evan asked for a new update I thought I would try a little harder. Paul and I just celebrated one year of marriage. So crazy how fast time flies. We went up to Paso Robles wine country and stayed at an awesome bed and breakfast to celebrate. We are still living in orange county and both he and I are in school. I had a crazy first semester at Long Beach State in my masters program, but am looking forward to the spring semester. Paul is doing well with his masters in theology and will be starting on his thesis soon. We are both looking forward to the day that we will both be done with school forever. Still a long way off however. Life overall has been wonderful. We are enjoying life and looking forward to all the blessings God has for our future.

Birthday Present

I got a new camera for my birthday. Its a cannon rebel.....sweet!! Paul and I went on a little photo shoot at Balboa Park in San Diego so that I could break in the new toy. These are a few of the mere 200 plus shots that I took that day.

Married Life!

Well we are finally married! Although the only people who may even read our blog are Evan and Andy and I think they already know! The Wedding was so beautiful. Although the week leading up to the wedding was a bit stressful the actual day could not have gone better. Having all our friends and family gathered together was so nice. Our honeymoon was perfect! We went on a cruise. After the stress of finishing school and going through a wedding the honeymoon was just what the Dr. ordered. Married life is great. We are finally settled in to our apartment and back to the daily grind of work. We are looking forward to building our life together and growing closer to each other and to God.

The school year is well under way. We are both taking classes, and Brenda is set to graduate in December! We are slowly but surely getting everything taken care of for our wedding. There is a lot more involved than I had originally thought.

Hello all,
We thought this would be a good way to keep in touch with all of you and to share a little bit about what is going on in our lives. Currently we are both enjoying our summer, however I (Brenda) am not relaxing quite as much as one should during their summer vacation. We are excited about the approaching year, I will be finishing my last semester of college, and Paul will be doing music full time in orange county!!! We are both looking forward to an exciting year, and are counting down the days until our January Wedding. Following our wedding it is any ones guess where we will end up and what we will be doing. We will keep you all posted.
